The origin of the name
Milène is a specially created name. We were looking for a name that begins with M - inspired by the founder Melina - and that reflects some of our values, such as elegance and emotional depth.mila" is rooted in Slavic, just like the founder, and means friendly, beautiful and valuable. A meaning that expresses the core of our attitude: an invitation to recognise one's own value, to appreciate success and to follow one's personal path with style and pride. With a soft French sound and a Slavic soul, the name Milène was born.
About the founder
Melina Wiegand, the founder of Milène, combines her passion for luxury leather goods with a deep understanding of the needs of the modern business woman. With her many years of experience as a product manager for leather goods and accessories at a renowned German luxury brand and as a category manager at a leading German e-commerce company, she has created a brand that reflects her values and vision.
