The decision to choose Italy as our production location reflects not only our passion for fine craftsmanship, but also our appreciation for the centuries-old tradition of craftsmanship that is deeply rooted in leather processing there.
TRADITION MEETS INNOVATION
Just a few kilometers from downtown Florence is a small, family-run factory that has been producing high-quality leather goods since the early 1970s. Founded by a passionate artisan with a desire to continue the Florentine leather tradition, the company is now run by the second generation. Here, experienced master craftsmen work alongside young talents who bring fresh perspectives and new ideas.
The combination of established expertise and contemporary thinking also characterizes Milène's products. Each piece is created with great care and attention to detail—an expression of the company's commitment to harmonizing aesthetics and quality.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FUTURE
Even though Milène does not position itself as a completely sustainable company, responsibility towards people and the environment is always at the forefront. All materials are sourced exclusively from selected Italian partners in order to promote the local economy and reduce the ecological footprint.

We work exclusively with renowned Italian suppliers: The soft nappa cowhide comes from a specialised tannery that combines traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technology. The elegant metal fittings are made by an Italian family business known for its precision and quality. The inner lining also comes from Italy - woven by a traditional company that favours sustainable production. The result is a bag that epitomises genuine Italian craftsmanship and design.
