Milène bags are crafted in a family-run workshop in the province of Varese, north of Milan – now run by the second generation, and specialising in structured leather design for the past sixty years. 70 skilled craftsmen. A single process: from leather selection to final quality control. Varese is no coincidence. The region has historic roots in precision saddlery and high-end luggage production – a tradition that combines technological expertise with the depth of craftsmanship. Structured shapes, clean constructions. Leather that holds its shape is the DNA of this region. Here, they understand the geometry of leather. This gives our bags the structure that stands up to everyday use.
Tuscany – Siena
Milène’s small leather goods are crafted in the province of Siena – at the heart of Tuscany’s leather goods industry. Small leather goods demand precision within the most confined of spaces. A few square centimetres, yet so many decisions. Designs that work. Craftsmanship you can feel – not see. What is created here changes over time. It develops more character. It becomes more personal.
